Travel Advisory for Malawi

Travel Advisory for Malawi

According to Malawi’s Ministry of Health, more than 90 cases of cholera a week are occurring primarily in the southern districts of Chikwawa and Nsjane which border Mozambique. More than 420 cases, a significant increase over the average incidence, have been reported since mid-February 2015; the outbreak has yet to peak.

Strict hygiene and food and beverage precautions are advised for travel to risk areas. Travelers should carry oral rehydration salts in case of severe watery diarrhea.

Please contact us 4-6 weeks before your trip for all your immunization needs. Have a healthy trip!

Yes! we are Open for Business with adjusted hours according to your needs and taking extra precautions in the interest of limiting community spread of COVID-19. In order to practice social distance; our waiting room sitting capacity has been reduced, our appointments have been spaced out to give our clients the space they need and our staff time to wipe the surfaces after each client and limited visits to one person in the clinic rooms.  We strongly encourage clients to use the Ministry of Health’s online self-assessment tool BEFORE they come to the clinic:  We understand that some immunizations must be done to keep optimum health for disease prevention, to start a new job, to fulfill post-secondary registration requirements or changes on private insurances coverage and will do everything we can to help you.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at or phone at 780-465-5150 or text/WhatsApp at 780-237-2944
