Coverage & Eligibility
Alberta Health Services does not cover immunizations unless you are a healthcare worker and meet specific criteria.
Eligibility for publicly funded vaccines will be determined during your appointment with the nurse.
Travel Vaccines Costs in Edmonton Are Not One-Size-Fits-All
Just because you’re traveling to the same destination as someone else doesn’t mean you’ll need the same vaccines.
Your travel itinerary, medical history, and risk factors play a major role.
The nurse will assess everything during your consultation.
Why We Don’t Give Recommendations Over the Phone
To ensure your safety and the right care, we only provide recommendations after a full consultation with our nurse.
Please book an appointment so we can make informed decisions based on your health and travel plans.
Insurance & Reimbursement
We do not direct bill insurance companies.
You will receive a receipt after your appointment to submit for reimbursement.
To check coverage before coming in, call your insurer and provide them with the Drug Identification Number (DIN) of the vaccine(s) located on the price list.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Appointments are scheduled times. Visits may take longer depending on patient needs, reactions, or form complexity.
Some people may feel anxious, lightheaded, sore, or need extra time after vaccines or testing. Please let our staff know — your safety always comes first.
TB skin tests require a return visit within 48–72 hours for the result to be read. Missed readings may require the test to be repeated.
Travel and clinical appointments may involve education, documentation review, and recommendations. Not all vaccines or prescriptions are provided on site.
Atlas Immunization Services is a nurse-run immunization clinic. We do not provide primary medical care, diagnostic services, or prescription refills.
All service fees are published on our website prior to booking and reflect private, fee-for-service care. Some services may be available through public health for free. Please call 811
Delays may occur due to patient care needs. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
If you have questions or concerns during or after your visit, please contact the clinic directly so we can assist you.
